Checkmate: Far-right conservatives use Kyrie Irving as pawn in anti-Vaxxer chess game

Kyrie Irving seems to be all the rage on Twitter every day. But not for his insane layup package, or silky smooth 3-point shot.

He is not vaccinated and the choice has left his teammates without a leader. His decision not to tie the vaccine to New York City’s vaccine requirements means Irving may never take the court like a net this season.

Now everyone except Kyrie Irving has something to say about Kyrie Irving – especially the right anti-vaccines.

In a way, he became their savior. Countless anti-vaxxers and right-wing talkers have tweeted their support for Kyrie and claiming they support her decision to fight the system and not get the shot.

But Kyrie never asked to be their hero, and in an ugly anti-vax chess game, Kyrie is played like the pawn.

Vaccine protesters recently stormed the Barclays Center to protest vaccination warrants, shouting “Let Kyrie play!” “

Kyrie never asked any of them to protest for him, please let him in.

Protesters broke down the barriers in front of the arena and almost entered until security could push them back. Candace Owens immediately retweeted the video.

After the game, Floyd Mayweather posted a video supporting Kyrie’s decision. In it, he claimed that America once gave us the choice about the vaccine and is now removing that choice.
In less than 24 hours, Candace Owens retweeted the video, but added her own dangerous and hateful twist, comparing the vaccinated with slaves in government.

Candace effortlessly masks her dangerous and hateful speech with intelligent thought. Kyrie didn’t ask for his support, but he got it anyway, because it fits his narrative. If she and our beloved Kyrie Irving are on the same side of the story, then I must be wrong.

But where was all that energy for Kyrie Irving when he spoke STRONGLY about police brutality? Kyrie officially supported the families of George Floyd and Breonna Taylor and demanded changes in police reform.

Candace and her right-wing sycophants see in Kyrie just a way to continue to fuel the fears the government is trying to have you.

Irving is a basketball player who told you how he feels. He also told you that he’s not trying to be a hero for any reason.

But Conservatives don’t care what Kyrie thinks. They don’t care about this black man unless he says something they can use to match their narrative. If they can’t use you, shut up and dribble.
